The Bells of St Peter ad Vincula - Combe Martin
St Peters has a great fine ring of 8 bells, tuned to the key of F#, and with a tenor weight of just over 10cwt. They were founded in 1922 when the then 6 bells were recast by Mears and Stainbank, Bell Founders of London.
The Tower is affiliated to the guild of Devonshire Ringers and the bells are rung regularlyTower on Sundays at 8:45am for the 9:30am service, From 7pm to 9pm on Thursday evenings practice nights, and on other special occasions. Visiting ringers are always welcome to join the local band, but service/practice times do change occasionally, so it is best to check in advance as below
